CALL FOR PAPERS
The Society for Medieval and Renaissance Philosophy will sponsor two sessions at Western Michigan University’s at the 53rd International Congress on Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, May 10-13, 2018. We welcome proposals for sessions in all areas of medieval philosophy, but are especially interested in proposals that touch on one of the following three themes: (a) logic and epistemology; (b) philosophy in the Abrahamic traditions; (c) political philosophy.
If you would be interested in presenting, please refer to the paper submission and conference participation policies located on the website for the Congress. Please email paper proposals (single page abstracts) together with a completed Participant Information Form before September 19, 2017 to Luis Xavier López Farjeat (firstname.lastname@example.org). Per Congress policies, we will forward any proposals that we are unable to accommodate for DSA-sponsored sessions to WMU’s Medieval Institute to be considered for inclusion in the general session of the Congress. Presenters for accepted proposals will be contacted soon after Sept. 19.
Paper presenters are strongly encouraged to hold a membership in the Society for Medieval and Renaissance Philosophy. For details on the society and the membership requirements, please refer to the SMRP’s website: http://www.smrpphil.org/.
