CFP for SMRP Sessions at the 54th International Congress on Medieval Studies

The Society for Medieval and Renaissance Philosophy will sponsor three at the 54th International Congress on Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, May 9-12, 2019. We welcome proposals for sessions in all areas of medieval philosophy, but are especially interested in proposals that touch on one of the following three themes: (a) philosophy in the Abrahamic traditions; (b) logic, metaphysics, and epistemology; (c) ethics and political philosophy.

If you would be interested in presenting, please refer to the paper submission and conference participation policies located on the website for the Congress. Please email paper proposals (single page abstracts) together with a completed Participant Information Form before September 15, 2018 to John Inglis (jinglis1@udayton.edu). Participant Information Forms will be available on the submissions page. Per Congress policies, we will forward any proposals that we are unable to accommodate for SMRP-sponsored sessions to WMU’s Medieval Institute to be considered for inclusion in the general session of the Congress. Presenters for accepted proposals will be contacted soon after Sept. 15.

Paper presenters are strongly encouraged to hold a membership in the Society for Medieval and Renaissance Philosophy. For details on the society and the membership requirements, please refer to the membership page.
