Upcoming CFP

The Society for Medieval and Renaissance Philosophy invites proposals for topics and presentations on Renaissance and Medieval thought and philosophy for the annual conference of the Renaissance Society of America in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from March 9-11, 2023.  All submissions will be considered, but topics of special interest include:

Discussions of the thought and influence of Judah Abravanel.

Discussions of any aspect of the thought and influence of Marsilio Ficino.

Analyses of forms of agency in Medieval and Renaissance thought, broadly construed.

Discussions of alternative polities in Medieval and Renaissance thought, broadly construed.

If you would like to deliver a paper exploring these themes, or any other, please submit a proposal to Sean Erwin at Serwin@barry.edu by Friday, August 5th, 2022.

Your proposal should include your name, academic affiliation, email address, the title of your paper, an abstract of no more than 200 words, and a very brief CV (less than 300 words) or a link to an online CV.
